Why Are You That Color is a picture book for children 5-8. A journey that is both inward and outward, it follows two young kids who ask each other, “why are you that color?” In order to help the two kids understand the color of their skin, God uses animals to explain how perfectly made each “color” is. This story allows us to see that humans may ask questions that are of this world, yet learn that sometimes the best answers are not.
